Political consultations between Serbia and Greece on the basis of the MoU on European integration issues were held in Athens on 9 October 2015. The consultations were headed by Mr. Dimitrios Tziras, Director General for EU Affairs of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mrs. Marina Jovićević, acting Assistant Foreign Minister of the Republic of Serbia. There was also held a courtesy call to Mr. Nikos Xydakis, Alternate Minister for European Affairs. The main topics on the agenda included: migratory and asylum crisis, dynamic of the opening of the first negotiating chapters with Serbia, Chapter 31 and EU CFSP, preparation of the Progress Report for Serbia, regional cooperation, dialogue Belgarde-Priština, Chapters 23 and 24 and next meeting of the Joint Commission for the implementation of the MoU.
